Converting to Moneydance 2014 from an earlier version of Moneydance

First, download and install the appropriate version of Moneydance for your system from hereMac users should restart their computers after moving the program to their Applications folder and before opening Moneydance 2014. Then open the Moneydance program.  You will now see the "Welcome to Moneydance" window. 

 
If you are converting from Moneydance 2012 your file(s) will be available under “Account Sets”- select a file and click "Open". If your file isn't listed there, click on the "Open Other" button in the lower left hand corner of the window and navigate to your data file.
 
If you’re converting from Moneydance 2011 or earlier, click the “Open Other” button at the bottom left of window to convert your data file to the new Moneydance file format. To keep your data file stored in it’s current location select “Convert Only,” to have Moneydance move your data file into the internal library select “Convert and Import.
